DESCRIPTION

Allergy means an exaggerated response of the immune system to many substances that may be foods, dust, pollen or any other substance. The person when exposed to these substance will react in what is known as the allergic reaction . The allergic reaction may be mild such as itching of the nose with running nose and sneezing or it may be sever causing swelling of the whole body with constrictionof the airways and asthama . The allergic reactions at times may be very serious and can be fatal.If a person exibits these syptoms repeatedly ,then the perrson must get a comprehensive allergic panel testing done. The comprehensive allergic panel testing is a test done in the laboratory to determind what are the substances that one is allergic to and helps in prevention of these allergic episodes by avoiding exposure to those allergins. The comprehensive allergic panel includes dust, cereal, vegetables and fruits, meats, pollen, animal dander and house mites.
